We had the pleasure of dining at Under the Moon Cafe, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The service was top-notch—our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ropa vieja was a standout, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The attention to detail in both the food and the overall experience truly sets this place apart. Whether you’re looking for a cozy date night spot or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Under the Moon Cafe is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

Vibes are alllll the way up! Friends and I enjoyed brunch on a Sunday at Under the Moon Cafe. The service was A+ with super friendly staff. The ambience was chill and comforting with the quiet buzz of chatter mixed with the soothing sounds of live music in the background. The food was exquisite from the appetizers to the main course (the fried chicken sandwich blew my mind and taste buds). And the price was just right!

After coming here multiple times now I’m going to have to give Under The Moon Cafe 5 stars. It’s such a unique restaurant serving a diverse menu with an Argentinian flair. The restaurant is in a 1930’s atmosphere which is also unique. My favorite dishes are the Ropa vieja, chicken napolatana, gnocchi in vodka sauce, and their risotto specials. Today I had the chicken napolatana and the sauce was so DELICIOUS and flavorful! The gnocchi dinner are like soft pillows of heaven! The Ropa vieja was also tender and flavorful. The noodle bowl is good, but not my favorite dinner. Those are all the entrees I tried so far. As far as appetizers I usually get the soup of the day which is always very good! The empanadas are also EXCELLENT! The chicken wings we thought were ok/good. For dessert the apple crumb cake is FANTASTIC! You have to order it! The banana chocolate chip bread is Amazing if you ask to warm it up until it gets soft. It isn’t good if you don’t tell them prior to ordering it because then it’s too stiff. Today I told my waitress to warm it up until soft and WOW it made a big difference! We are still dreaming of it! One complaint is the brownie and peanut butter cheesecake with the brownie on the bottom is too dry. Putting the brownie in the refrigerated case dries it out. I love the peanut butter cheesecake part on top, but did not enjoy the dry brownie on the bottom. I absolutely love it here, and highly recommend dining at Under The Moon Cafe in Bordentown!

We chose to have our daughter’s Law School graduation party here this past weekend. Shannon was extremely nice and accommodating. She printed up menus with our daughter’s name and school logo which is a lovely touch. It is a BYO so they set up a table for wine we brought. The table settings were adorably eclectic as is the whole restaurant. The food was delicious! Our server Abby was very friendly and easy going. She even set the pacing of everything perfectly. It made for a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for events. We had about 25 people.

We came here for brunch with my nephew and his wife who live a block away on a Saturday afternoon. Right away we loved the vibe and decor of this place. And the food was even better. The coffee was stellar. We had the steak and eggs, huevos rancheros, and chicken and waffles brunch specials. All scrumptious and perfectly done. Highly recommended!

Walked in on a Sunday at 11am without a reservation sat very quickly. Btw reservations are suggested.. Logan my server was very pleasant made dining alone better. My first choice Artichoke rice balls they were out of so I did get the sweet potato and quinoa burger it was amazing, full of flavor and a great choice. I will be back for a noodle bowl 😋 and to try the artichoke rice balls.

Ventured here for lunch on Monday and didn’t regret it. This place is an absolute gem and a must-stop if you’re in the area. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the food easily lives up to the hype. Our server Lenny was top notch! The Cuban sandwich was outstanding—perfectly pressed with crisp bread, layers of tender roasted pork, ham, melted cheese, pickles, and just the right amount of mustard. Every bite was balanced and flavorful without being greasy, which is hard to pull off with a Cuban. The crispy chicken sandwich was just as impressive. The chicken was juicy on the inside with a perfectly crunchy coating, topped with fresh ingredients that didn’t overpower the star of the show. You can tell the quality and care that goes into their food. Great food, great vibe, and consistently delicious. Under the Moon Café is one of Bordentown City’s best spots, and I’ll definitely be back

Loved this place! The atmosphere was so cozy. We loved the decor and eclectic glassware and dinnerware. The food was delicious. We had the crispy brussel sprouts with garlic aioliI to start. YUM! I had the seasonal risotto with chicken, and my husband had the 3-tiered tapas tower. The risotto was amazing with tomatoes, peas, shaved parmesan, and cream. My husband had the potatoes, pork belly, and (the star of the show) the short ribs with gorgonzola over mashed potatoes (drool). We left very full and very happy. It was the perfect date night. We brought a bottle of red wine, and for only $10, they gave us a pitcher of juice and cut fruits to make sangria. Our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!!
